The OLPC XO-3 tablet for children in developing nations will debut in February next year, chairman of One Laptop Per Child foundation Nicholas Negroponte said in an interview with IDG.

The February release is about 45 later than originally planed. The XO-3 won’t be initially branded OLPC, but as a product by chip maker Marvell, with the actual XO-3 to follow.

The tablet is expected to cost $75 and to be rugged with a screen made of “maybe glasss or some flavor of glass”.
