ASUS-Lamborghini Eee PC VX6 Laptop Officially Released

Asustek has officially released the recently leaked ASUS-Lamborghini Eee PC VX6 12.1-inch ultraportable notebook, featuring a dual-core Atom CPU, switchable graphics, and a look co-designed by car maker Lamborghini.

The VX6 comes with the Intel Atom D525 1.83GHz dual-core CPU, aimed at use in small form factor desktop PCs, as well as with Nvidia Optimus switchable GPU technology that combines the Nvidia ION 2 dedicated GPU for more 3D gaming power and Intel’s integrated graphics for a longer battery life. The laptop also supports full HD 1080p video playback on an external display via HDMI and includes Bang & Olufsen Icepower for a rich audio experience.

The display has a 720p resolution.

Asustek’s stylish ultraportable has a black or white glossy exterior also features USB 3.0 and Bluetooth 3.0 technologies, and the Express Gate instant-on OS besides Windows 7 Home Premium.

The ASUS-Lamborghini Eee PC VX6 is available in the UK for £499, which is around $800 USD. There’s no word on availability in other countries.

Asustek has published user manuals of the upcoming Asus Eee PC Lamborghini VX6 ultraportable laptop.

According to the manuals, the Eee PC VX6 features a 12.1″ 1366×768 display, the dual-core Intel Atom D525 1.83GHz processor, NVIDIA ION 2 graphics, and Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

The Lamborghini-inspired and branded notebook has VGA and HDMI outputs, three USB ports, an SD card slot, and a multitouch touchpad.

There is no word on release date and pricing.

Asus NX90Jq 18.4″ Multimedia Notebook Available Now

Asustek’s 18.4-inch Asus NX90Jq multimedia notebook with an innovative design and SonicMaster audio technology is now available for purchase.

Several e-tailers in the U.S. are offering the NX90Jq-A1 model, which features the Intel Core I7-720QM 1.6GHz quad-core processor, Nvidia GeForce GT335M 1GB dedicated graphics, 8GB od DDR3 memory, 1.28TB of storage using dual 640GB hard disks, and a Blu-ray Combo drive.

Its LED-backlit 18.4″ display has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.

According to the company, incorporated SonicMaster audio technology co-developed with Bang & Olufsen provides “the best codec and highest-powered notebook amplifier available” which “delivers wider sonic range, louder volume and deeper bass.”

The speakers in the Asus N90X are integrated into the lid, as opposed to the main chassis, which is made of aluminum in this case. Another innovation are dual touchpads positioned at either side of the keyboard, serving as an “intuitive and enjoyable way for you to manage and play your multimedia content”.

The mobile media center also includes a 2MP web camera, microphone, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Gigabit LAN, Bluetooth, two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports (one shared with e-SATA), a digital/analog TV tuner, 8-in-1 media card reader, and HDMI and VGA outputs.

It weighs 9.7 lbs with the standard 6-cell battery and comes with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit OS.

The Asus NX90Jq is available for about $2,200.

Asus Announces Eee PC 1015PEM Netbook With Dual-Core Atom

Asustek has announced the 10.1-inch Eee PC 1015PEM, the first netbook with the latest Intel Atom dual-core mobile processor.

Besides the Atom N550 at 1.5GHz with GMA 3150 integrated graphics, the Eee PC 1015PEM features up to 2GB of DDR3 memory, 250GB of storage space, a 1.3MP web camera, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Ethernet LAN, Bluetooth, and three USB ports.

The ASUS Eee PC 1015PEM comes in four colors: red, black, white, and pink.

It will be available in Europe next week for 349 Euros (around 443 USD). There’s no info on availability in other parts of the world.

German e-tailer PC IT Shop has started offering the new ASUS Eee PC 1215P 12.1-inch ultraportable/netbook, featuring the latest Intel Atom N550 dual-core processor.

The Eee PC 1215P runs Windows 7 Home Premium OS and includes 2GB DDR3 RAM, a 250GB hard drive, Wi-Fi, a web camera, and a VGA port.

It’s offered in black and silver color and has a price tag of 446,90 Euros (566 USD).

Asustek has announced the 8.9-inch Asus Eee PC 900AX netbook based on old Intel Atom technology and previous-generation Eee PC case design.

The 2.48-pound netbook features the Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 1GB of DDR2 memory, a 160GB hard drive, a maximum run time of 4 hours with its 4-cell battery, and Windows XP Home operating system.

Its LED-backlit screen has a resolution of 1024×600-pixels.

The Eee PC 900AX also includes an optional 0.3MP web camera with integrated microphone, a built-in mono speaker, 802.11n WiFi, Ethernet LAN, two USB ports, an MMC/SD (SDHC) card reader, and a VGA port.

Asus New Gaming Laptop Now Available

The recently announced Asus G73JH 17.3-inch G Series gaming laptop is now available in the US.

Newegg offers the G73JH-X1 model that includes the Intel Core i7 720QM quad core processor, the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 1GB graphics, 8GB of DDR3 memory, a 500GB hard drive, a DVD burner, an 8-cell battery and Windows 7 Home Premium OS. The G73JH-X1 utilizes LED backlight for its 17.3-inch 1920 x 1080-pixel display.

Other features include built-in stereo speakers, a 2.0MP web camera, 802.11b/g/n wireless, an Ethernet LAN port, HDMI and VGA outputs, four USB ports, and an 8-in-1 media card reader.

The Asus G73JH-X1 weighs 8 lbs and has a futuristic chassis design.

Asustek has announced the Asus Eee PC T101MT, a 10.1-inch multi-touch convertible netbook.

Along with the 1024×600 LED backlight display that supports Windows 7 multi-touch gestures and uses resistive technology, the Eee PC T101MT features the Intel Atom N450 processor and Windows 7 Starter or Home Premium OS.

The tablet netbook with Starter edition has 1GB of DDR2 memory and a 160GB hard drive, whereas the Home Premium-based model includes 2GB of RAM and a 320GB HDD.

Both versions feature a 35Wh battery for up to 6.5-hour run time, a 0.3MP web camera and microphone, stereo speakers, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth, three USB ports, a multi-in-one media card reader, and a VGA output.

The Eee PC T101MT weighs 2.86lbs and comes in white or black color.

Asus Eee PC T91

Asustek’s first touch-screen netbook, the 8.9-inch Asus Eee PC T91, is now available for purchase in the United States. and offer the 2.1-pound convertible, the T91SA-VU1X-BK, that includes the Intel Atom Z520 CPU at 1.33GHz, 1GB of DDR2 memory, a 16GB solid state drive plus a free 16GB SD card and 20GB via Eee Storage service, a “5-hour” battery, and Windows XP Home OS with Asutek’s exclusive TouchSuite user interface.

The display uses resistive touch technology and LED backlight.

The black Eee PC T91 also includes a 0.3MP web camera, stereo speakers and a microphone, 802.11n WiFi, a LAN port, two USB ports, an MMC / SD (SDHC) card raeder, and a VGA output.

The First Laptop with Geforce GT12M GPU

Asustek announced yesterday the 14-inch ASUS N81Vg, the world’s first notebook to feature the new NVIDIA GeForce GT 120M graphics processing unit.

Along with the HD-capable 120M with 32 processor cores, DirectX 10 support and NVIDIA CUDA technology, the ASUS N81Vg features the Intel Core 2 Duo processor, up to 4GB of DDR2 memory, up to 500GB HDD space, and a DVD burner or Blu-ray combo drive and a 1.3MP web camera. The display is glare type and uses LED backlight.

According to the press release, the entertainment laptop has a battery life of up to 3 hours in Performance mode and up to 4 hours in Battery Conservation mode. Its 3DMark 2006 score is 5,431 points.

The N81Vg runs Windows Vista operating system.
