<p>California-based Cherrypal today announced the CherryPad America sub $200 tablet computer, featuring a 7-inch display, Android 2.1 operating system with “full access to the Android Market” and a Samsung ARM11 800MHz processor.</p>
<p>“The CherryPad America features a 7-inch resistive touch widescreen display (no stylus needed) at 800×480 resolution with built-in gravity sensor. Memory, storage and wireless functions include 256 MBs of DDRII RAM; 2 GB NAND Flash; Micro SD (1x) reader, and WiFi 802.11 b/g.</p>
<p>Standard I/O ports include USB 2.0 supported by an external adapter; 3.5 mm headphone jack, built-in speakers and microphone, DC port, optional external 3G modem. The CherryPad America’s Polymer 3200 MAH battery has a run time of 6-8 hours. The device weighs just 1.1 pounds and is housed in a sturdy aluminum case,” the press release says.</p>
<p>The tablet and other Cherrypal products will be exclusively sold through Zecozi in the United States. The tablet has a a MSRP of $188.</p>
<p>Upgrade to Android 2.2 is expected by the end of 2010.</p>

<p>Hannspree’s device includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a mini HDMI port, mini USB connector, Micro SD card slot, and accelerometer.</p>
<p>The tablet is priced at 399 Euros (507 USD).</p>

<p>The Eee Pad EP121 features a CULV Intel Core 2 Duo processor, two modes of character input – an on-screen virtual keyboard and a special docking station keyboard, Windows 7 Home Premium OS, and more than 10 hours of battery life.</p>
<p>For greater mobility, there is also the 1.5 pound pocket-friendly 10-inch Eee Pad EP101TC. It runs on Windows Embedded Compact 7 OS.</p>
<p>There is no official info on pricing and availability for the new tablet devices. According to earlier rumors, the Eee Pad is expected in the third quarter of 2010, with an estimated price between $479 and $510.</p>

<p>Dell says the Latitude XT2 XFR has been independently tested to meet military (MIL-STD-810G) and IP54 (Ingress Protection) standards for operation in extreme conditions, including drops of up to 3 feet. Protective features include rugged hinges, rugged I/O doors, and an optional rubber backlit keyboard.</p>
<p>The 12.1″ display is outdoor-readable and has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Along with touch and multi-touch, the screen supports digital pen input.</p>
<p>Regarding core components, the XT2 XFR includes the Intel Core Duo ULV SU9600 1.6GHz processor with vPro technology, up to 5GB of DDR3 memory, up to 128GB solid state drive or up to 160GB hard drive storage, the Intel GMA 4500MHD integrated GPU, wireless LAN, a Gigabit Ethernet port, optional mobile broadband connectivity, Bluetooth, a single speaker, a microphone, optional hot swappable 2MP camera or dedicated GPS, three USB ports, ExpressCard and SD card slots, a Smart Card reader, a Firewire port, a VGA output, a fingerprint reader, and the TPM 1.2.</p>
<p>The Tablet PC starts at 5.4lbs and comes with a 4-, 6-, or 9-cell battery.</p>
<p>It runs Windows Vista Business and has a base price of $3,600 at Dell.com.</p>
